The Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday announced that they will host former President Donald Trump at the Sunday game against the New York Jets. Spokesman for the team Burt Lauten, in a social media post, said that the Republican presidential nominee is an individual suite holder and ‘we are working with Secret Service and local authorities to ensure the safety and security of all our fans’.
Trump is trying to woo swing state voters in Pennsylvania. He will also be serving fries and coke at a McDonald’s. However, fans are most excited about his Week 7 appearance at the Acrisure Stadium.

“As always, we will work to make the fan experience the same as it always is for every Steelers’ home game at Acrisure Stadium. We encourage fans to arrive early to the parking lots and to gates so that they can enjoy our pregame experience and our celebrations throughout the game that will honor the 50th anniversary of our Super Bowl IX team,” Lauten said in a post on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.

While Donald Trump has not publicly indicated which team he will support in the Week 7 matchup, the 78-year-old shares ties with both cities. Most of his real-estate business is in New York . He has also expressed his admiration for Pittsburgh in the past, particularly during his presidency.
The former president has on numerous occasions tried to purchase NFL teams, including the Baltimore Colts in 1981, the New England Patriots in 1988, and the Buffalo Bills in 2014. However, he has not been successful yet.
