Patrick, 28, posted a picture of the Mahomes family as well as two snaps of the couple together in a post on Instagram.
“My [love]! Happy birthday!” the Chiefs quarterback wrote in the caption.
Brittany gave fans a peek into her birthday celebrations on social media.
The SI model and ex-soccer player shared photos from a dinner with Patrick and her friends, whom she adorable called “girlies.”\
One of the snaps showed her birthday cake, adorned with purple and gold decorations and lit sparklers.
Brittany also uploaded pictures taken with her husband in front of gold balloons that spelled out 29.
The couple looked happy and at peace despite the outrage Mrs. Mahomes had to deal with in the past week.
She received a lot of backlash after apparently liking social media posts supporting Trump’s candidacy in the 2024 US presidential election.
Brittany later appeared to have hit back at her critics with a cryptic social media message.
“To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,” her Instagram Story read.
“There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
Brittany later shared a post that read, “Contrary to the tone of the world today….you can disagree with someone, and still love them.
“You can have differing views, and still be kind.”
She wrote underneath it, “Read that again!”
Brittany also opened up about dealing with social media critics in an interview with wearable device company Whoop.
Without mentioning Trump, she credited Patrick for helping her learn how to manage fame and attention.
“He is very good at blocking people out so having him beside has helped,” the NFL star’s wife said.
“The main thing he always told me is to stop caring what people think – especially the people that don’t even know you.
“I think social media used to get to me a lot.
“Now, it’s just like, honestly, I don’t give a f**k what people have to say about me anymore.
“And I think he has helped me get to that point.
“I am strong in who I am. I am confident in who I am.
“I’m confident in mine and his relationship and I am confident in our lives.
“So why does what other people say have to matter at all?”
