Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday thanked Brittany Mahomes for her support of his presidential campaign, after the wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes sent public signals on social media revealing her support.
‘I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social network.
Trump used her support to promote his campaign agenda.
‘With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless “leaders,” it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM,’ he wrote.
Trump also hinted at his plans for the Super Bowl, including predicting the Kansas City Chiefs will make it to the NFL’s big game next year.
‘What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!’ he wrote.

Brittany Mahomes all-but-confirmed her support for Donald Trump by recently liking posts on Instagram supporting the Republican Party.
The wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick – and close friend of Taylor Swift – sent Instagram into meltdown last week after she liked a reply from a follower which said: ‘TRUMP-VANCE 2024’.
She also liked another message of support after she incited fury for initially liking a post from Trump about the November election.
‘Glad to see you aren’t backing down,’ the comment that she liked said. ‘We are all entitled to our own opinions and shouldn’t be bullied into submission.’

Mahomes and Taylor Swift have struck up a close friendship over the last 12 months
But plenty of other comments on her post were from Democratic supporters, with many calling for a Kamala Harris win or predicting a ‘blue landslide’.
Earlier this week Mahomes, a pregnant mother of two, re-posted a comment from preacher and author Shane Pruitt that appeared to be a response against backlash against her.
‘Contrary to the tone of the world today…’ the post begins. ‘You can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind.’
But Mahomes’ political view appears to put her at odds with Swift, who is dating Patrick’s Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce.
Sources revealed to DailyMail.com that Swift and Brittany Mahomes specifically implemented measures to protect their friendship even as fans predicted a huge fallout after her support of Trump became public.
‘Taylor is not going to be written into this anti-Brittany narrative because they have made a pact to not discuss politics,’ sources said, adding that the pair would ‘respect that they have different views.’
The two couples spend time together over the weekend with Swift back in the United States after four months of touring in Europe.
In an interview in 2019 with The Guardian, Swift said she supported Hilary Clinton over Trump in the 2016 election and accused Trump of treating the presidency like ‘an autocracy’.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick has never revealed which party he supports and told TIME magazine he does not plan to get involved in politics.
‘I don’t want to pressure anyone to vote for a certain president,’ he said.

‘I want people to use their voice, whoever they believe in. I want them to do the research.’
The Chiefs have been invited to the White House by President Biden the past two years to commemorate their Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024.
Mahomes and his teammates had been invited to the White House by Trump following their Super Bowl LIV but did not attend due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
