Former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce made an interesting first impression when he debuted on “Monday Night Countdown” before the San Francisco 49ers defeated the New York Jets.
The Super Bowl champion, known more for his nonchalant style than his hard-nosed analytical persona, wore a white button-down shirt between Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears. Scott Van Pelt noted that Kelce needed to buy a shirt at the mall because he left his duffel bag in the truck.

“It fits my stomach now — I’ve lost a little weight,” Kelce said. “But my t— is still… struggling.”
Kelce’s joke had his co-hosts, along with others in the NFL, laughing.
Travis Kelce, Jason’s brother, was apparently watching from home. He wrote in a post on X that he was surprised by one thing as his brother struggled with his device.

“Surprised he bought a new shirt and didn’t go shirtless,” the Kansas City Chiefs star wrote.
There’s certainly more to this story, and it’s likely the former Eagles player will explain it on the next episode of the “New Heights” podcast.

Jason Kelce retired from the NFL earlier this year after 13 seasons in the league. He was a seven-time All-Pro and six-time Pro Bowler.
